Explore the cultural and historical treasures of Southwest France on an unforgettable educational train journey. This program takes students through some of the region’s most fascinating destinations, from the elegant streets of Bordeaux to the medieval fortress of Carcassonne.
Designed for school groups aged 12 and over, this educational tour combines cultural discoveries, historical landmarks and scenic train journeys. Traveling by rail also offers a more sustainable way to explore France.
Program
- Day 1 : Travel from Paris to Bordeaux by train and walk to your accommodation. Discover Bordeaux, a vibrant and historic city, famous for its grand architecture and world-class wine culture.
- Day 2 : Spend the day in Bordeaux, this magnificent UNESCO World Heritage city with elegant 18th-century achievements, bustling squares, and a beautiful waterfront along the Garonne River.
- Day 3 : Take the train to Take the train to Arcachon to spend the day in this charming seaside resort town, known for its picturesque oysterfarming villages, beautiful sandy beaches, and the majestic Dune of Pilat. Return to Bordeaux at the end of the day.
- Day 4 : Travel from Bordeaux to Toulouse and spend the day to discover the famous “Pink City”, renowned for its unique terracotta brick architecture, lively atmospheric squares, and rich aeronautical history
- Day 5 : Travel by train to Carcassonne, a breathtaking medieval fortified city that looks straight out of a fairy tale. Entrance to the fortress included.
- Day 6 : The journey can continue by train to Spain or Montpellier.

Students stay in residences with half-board accommodation:
- 3 nights half board in a residence in Bordeaux
- 2 nights half board in a residence in Toulouse
