Homestay and school integration in Saint-Malo

This program offers students the opportunity to explore Saint-Malo and its culture through full immersion with a French host family and integration into a local school. Ideal for short-term stays, it combines French courses with everyday experiences, providing the most effective way to learn the language.

This program provides students with the chance to explore France and its culture through a combination of full immersion with a French host family and school integration. This short-term language immersion program is a perfect first step before embarking on longer stays ! Combining French courses with full immersion is the most effective way to learn.

Living with a French host family

The best way to immerse yourself in another culture is to live with a host family. Host families offer support and guidance to students during their stay and share local customs. All families are carefully selected and prepared for the experience.

Attending a French high school

Students are placed in public or private schools, attending classes with French classmates for 5 days a week, typically from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or 6:00 pm. All classes are conducted in French.

Participants

Students must be between 14-18 years old at the time of their stay in France.

Destinations

Students are placed in Saint-Malo area, Brittany. Other destinations are possible (Nancy, Castres) upon request.

Dates 2026 Homestay and school integration in Saint-Malo :

During fall, winter or spring.

School year 2025/2026 – 8 days / 7 nights.

From Saturday to Saturday OR from Sunday to Sunday.

Prices 2026 :

45 students, 3 leaders free of charge : 520€
30 students, 2 leaders free of charge : 545€
15 students, 1 leader free of charge : 595€

Accommodation

Homestay accommodation. Full board.

Host region

The trip takes place in Saint-Malo, Brittany. Other destinations are possible (Nancy, Castres) upon request.

Discover Saint-Malo and its major places of interest

Visit famous landscapes of Saint-Malo, iconic places, improve your language skills with French lessons.

Participants

Participants must be at least 12 years old.

Valid identity documents for a stay in France.
Please check the exact conditions for entering France (visa, authorizations, etc…).

Prices includes :

School integration for 5 days including administration fees + school lunch fees.
One full day excursion to Mont Saint Michel + entrance fee for the group.
Accommodation: 7 nights full board in host families in Saint Malo (2-3 students per family) and 7 nights half board in 2-star hotel for adults in Saint Malo (single rooms).
Transportation: 1 x Pass for unlimited public transport in Saint Malo for the whole stay (Students travel by public transport to school and activities).
Assistance: meet and greet service on arrival in St Malo + assistance of CEI team in St Malo throughout the stay if needed.
