Discover the charm of Lyon with our educational city tour in France, designed for international school groups aged 12 and over. Known for its remarkable heritage, vibrant cultural scene and culinary traditions, Lyon offers an inspiring setting for students to explore French history and everyday life.

This program combines guided city visits, creative workshops and gastronomic experiences, with an excursion to Annecy, a picturesque Alpine town renowned for its canals and mountain scenery.

Guided bike tour of Lyon :
explore Lyon on two wheels during a guided bike tour. Discover the city’s architecture, lively neighbourhoods and cultural heritage while enjoying an active way to experience the city.
Institut Lumière to discover the history of cinema :
visit the Institut Lumière and explore the fascinating history of cinema. Learn about the pioneering work of the Lumière brothers and Lyon’s important role in the development of filmmaking.
Pérouges – medieval village and local specialities :
travel by private coach to Pérouges, a beautifully preserved medieval village near Lyon. Enjoy a guided walking tour through its historic streets, followed by a tasting of local specialities.
Cooking class in Lyon :
take part in a hands-on cooking class and discover French culinary traditions. Students explore cooking techniques and enjoy a creative gastronomic experience, with lunch included.
Scavenger hunt in Lyon’s old town :
discover Lyon’s historic Old Town through an engaging scavenger hunt. Explore its charming streets, observe architectural details and solve challenges while learning about the city’s heritage.
Annecy – full-day excursion :

Students stay in a residence in Lyon for 4 nights, with half-board accommodation.

Lyon Discovery offers students the opportunity to experience French culture beyond the classroom. From cinema history and traditional silk craftsmanship to regional gastronomy and medieval architecture, each activity reveals a different aspect of the region’s heritage.

Accommodation

Students enjoy 4 nights of half-board accommodation in a residence in Lyon. An unlimited public transport card is included for travelling around the city.
