The homestay program<\/strong> provides an excellent opportunity for teachers to apply their teaching methods, while students learn French and immerse themselves in French culture. Our CEI host community in Saint-Malo<\/strong> offers the perfect environment for this enriching experience.<\/p>\n

Host families<\/h3>\n

Our host families are carefully selected after an interview and a home visit by a CEI local representative. Availability, open-mindedness and hospitality are the major criteria for the selection of host families.
\nHost families live approximately 15-30 minutes from the school. Students receive full board accommodation (breakfast, packed lunch and dinner).<\/p>\n

Accommodation<\/h3>\n

Many of the families in St Malo have been hosting for years. Some families leave near the school, others in residential areas outside the city center (max 20\/25 min from the city).<\/p>\n

French Courses<\/h3>\n

The program consists of 15 hours of instruction per week, from Monday to Friday (5 sessions of 3 hours each), held at a local school. Classes are led by native French teachers and are organized into closed groups based on the number of participants and their proficiency levels. Teachers employ dynamic and interactive educational methods and materials. Upon completing the course, students receive a Certificate of Completion.<\/p>\n

Social and cultural activities<\/h3>\n

Along with the French classes, students will participate in afternoon activities in Saint-Malo. Excursions and specific activities upon request.<\/p>\n

Supervision and safety<\/h3>\n

The CEI team and local representative are available to provide assistance throughout the stay if needed. A meet and greet service is provided upon arrival. All our host families reside in safe and quiet residential areas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
