Adult language & cultural exchange program in France

We offer a unique language and cultural exchange program in France for adults aged 18 and over. Participants live with a French host family, share their native language and discover authentic French culture through everyday interactions.

This immersive experience combines language sharing, cultural discovery and meaningful connections with local families.

Language sharing and host family experience

Participants dedicate 15 hours per week to sharing their native language with host family members, including children and adults. Sessions are informal and adapted to the family’s needs, through conversations, games, storytelling and cultural activities.

In exchange, participants receive full-board accommodation with a selected French host family, allowing them to experience local traditions, customs and daily life.

Program duration and availability

The program is available throughout the year across France, with flexible stays of 1, 2 or 3 months.

Participants staying for three months may have the opportunity to experience life with two different host families.

Arrivals take place on Sundays and departures on Saturdays.

Participant requirements

The program is open to adults who:

• Are aged 18 or over, with no upper age limit
• Hold at least a high school diploma
• Have a good level of English
• Are enthusiastic about sharing their language and culture

French language skills are not mandatory, although basic knowledge is recommended to facilitate communication and integration.

More than a traditional stay abroad, this program allows participants to discover France from a local perspective, develop intercultural skills and build lasting international connections.
